WHO AM I

Qingyu Cai is a designer in multiple domains. She holds the belief that design can create new value. It's hard to categorize design challenges, because design should be seen as possible solutions instead of domains. 

She is trained as an architect and urban designer, but her approach to problem solving is not limited to certain expertise. As a designer, she has always been comfortable being exposed to various design challenges and types. During her study at both Harvard and MIT, she has participated in projects including urban design strategies, real estate development, product design and branding, digital design and social impact, computational design, data visualization, Ed Tech, UX Research, and so on.

Empowering design is due to her passion for the idea that design impact can be further amplified by interdisciplinary collaboration.
